Mike Tomlin Has Been Building a Minecraft City for 12 Years

The longest tenured coach in NFL history has a Minecraft hobby most people never knew about, and now it's public.

Mike Tomlin, the longest tenured head coach in NFL history before stepping down after the 2025 season, has a secret hobby that surprised a lot of people this month. He's spent roughly 12 years building a Minecraft city.

Tomlin revealed the project during a TODAY Show interview with Craig Melvin. He said he picked up the game when his kids were young, and has been working on the same world ever since.

Mike Tomlin had a reputation as a detailed oriented coach, and after watching his first world tour video, yeah, I can agree. The world looks great, and while I was never a big Minecraft player (only playing with my kids), I'd love to walk around this.

The city is now public. Tomlin's son, Dino, took on the job of recording and editing a tour, and the first video is out now.
